Wonderful World exists to provide a safe, developmentally, inclusive environment for toddlers, preschool, kindergarten and school age children. Our focus is to provide a stimulating early learning and a child care experience which promotes each child’s social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to support and nurture the children’s natural desire to learn. We promise to show up, educate ourselves, extend grace, be a friend, honour each child's uniqueness and strengths, be aware and attuned to your child's needs, create fun, provide a connection to resources and most importantly include parents as partners. We are committed to the families we serve.
Our Values
At Wonderful World we recognize learning includes everything that happens in a child's early years. We offer a developmentally appropriate program and social learning opportunities by nourishing the mind and senses.
Every activity and interaction is an educational moment, our children achieve a balance between structure and choice, individual endeavors and group achievement, and between peer experiences and teacher-led moments.

Our traditional/academic learning includes professionally developed early learning curriculum targeted specifically for three different learning groups, Ages 2-3, Ages 4-5 and Kindergarten.

A Place to Learn
Building self-esteem is a lifelong process of which the foundation is established in childhood. At Wonderful World we understand we play a critical role in your child’s development.

Our aim is to foster, encourage and support the children to be all they dream to be in the world. To do that, as leaders we are constantly learning to understand fundamentals about parenting behaviors that encourage growth, confidence and self-reliance, versus actions that stifle independence and critical thinking.

We praise them for effort, concentration, action and we affirm variables that are in their control, like hard work, or good strategy or honest words. This cultivates a healthy attitude that is open to taking calculated risks. It also prevents them from quitting or being afraid to fail or struggle and helps them develop their own positive worldview.
A Place to Grow
Warm and loving interactions between us and the children in our care develop their confidence, resilience and communication. This prepares them for things they’ll come across later in life, like working through problems, dealing with stress and forming healthy relationships with other people in adolescence and adulthood.

Creating strong-attachments helps young children to feel safe, comforted, and included in a warm, bonded relationship. These feelings of security actually increase children's capacity to learn and to develop mentally and physically.
